Refunds & Returns

We believe in our jars. If yours arrives damaged, opens to something off, or simply isn't for you, we want to make it right.

The thirty-day window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return or refund. After 30 days we can no longer process returns, though we're still happy to hear from you about anything that didn't meet expectations.

What we'll accept back

  • Unopened, sealed packaging. Because Onyx Bulb is a perishable food product, only unopened items can be physically returned for resale. Once a vacuum seal or jar lid is broken, the product can't go back into circulation.
  • Damaged or defective items. If your order arrives broken, leaking, or visibly compromised, we'll refund or replace it at no cost. Photograph the issue within 48 hours of delivery and email us at hello@onyxbulb.com with your order number.
  • Wrong item shipped. Our mistake, our cost. Contact us and we'll send the correct item plus a prepaid return label for the original.

What we can't refund

  • Opened or partially consumed products (with the exception of damaged or defective items above).
  • Gift cards.
  • Original shipping costs, unless the return is due to our error.
  • Orders refused on delivery without prior contact.

How to start a return

  1. Email hello@onyxbulb.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number and a short description of the issue.
  2. We'll reply within one business day with next steps and, if applicable, a return shipping label.
  3. Pack items securely in their original packaging if possible.
  4. Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are issued within 5 business days of receiving the return. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the funds may take an additional 3–10 business days to appear in your account.

International returns

For orders shipped outside the United States, please contact us before initiating a return. Customs fees, duties, and international shipping costs are not refundable.
